Regulations
The competition has two categories:
* category 1 - amateurs
* category 2 - conservatory students
Repertoire: each duo plays 10 minutes in the first round. The repertoire can be filled in at your own choice. You may play piano duo works for one piano, four hands or two pianos, or both. In the final, each piano duo from the amateurs category plays a maximum of 15 minutes. The piano duos from the conservatory students category play a maximum of 20 minutes in the final. Repetition of previously played works from the first round is permitted.
Number of participants: A maximum of 15 pairs is admitted to the first round.
When: The first round takes place on Wednesday, October 10 from 5:00 pm. The final takes place after the jury consultation at 8 p.m.
Costs: Participation costs are € 30 per pair.
Jury: the jury will consist of renowned Dutch pianists, with a rich experience in the piano duo play.
Prizes: The prizes include a performance during the festival on Saturday 13 October, a master class by the Scholtes & Janssens Piano Duo and various sheet music coupons.

Register via info@pianoduofestival.nl mentioning Pianoduo Festival Concours. Mention in this e-mail the names of both pianists, the category in which you participate as a duo, and the repertoire for the first and second round including duration per work. Duos from the 'student' category also send a short biography.
