20:15 - 22:30Opening concert: Piano Duo Nathalia Milstein & Giuseppe Guarrera

In recent years, Nathalia Milstein has become one of the most promising pianists of her generation. With performances at Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall, among others, she captured the hearts of many with her powerful interpretations and virtuosity. On this evening, she brings along her piano duo partner, Italian Giuseppe Guarrera, who in recent years impressed at the Verbier Festival and the Klavierfestival Ruhr, among others. The duo presents a varied program of celebrated piano duo repertoire such as Mozart's beloved Sonata for Two Pianos and Brahms' little-played Variations on a Theme by Haydn. After the intermission, they take inspiration from rhythm, in Ravel's Rapsodie espagnole and Rachmaninoff's rousing Russian Rhapsody.

This concert will take place in De Duif.
